NAWANSHAHR:Self Safety Slogan Awareness Drive, to fight Covid 19 in SBS Nagar today a noble cause initiated by Sewa Sankalp Society through its Vice President Advocate Harpreet Sandhu. Senior Superintendent of Police, SBS Nagar Alka Meena, IPS along with Harpreet Sandhu, Advocate and Police officials of SBS Nagar (Nawanshahr) launched Self Safety Slogan Brochures depicting the safety Slogan, ““ਮਾਸਕ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖੋ ਜੀ ਮਹਾਂਮਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚੋ ਜੀ” to emphasize the importance of wearing mask during the ongoing Covid era.
SSP, SBS Nagar Alka Meena, IPS along with Advocate Harpreet Sandhu distributed the masks and sanitization material amongst the Police Personnel at a social distance event and urged them to adopt the health safety guidelines and must wear mask and keeping social distancing to fight the ongoing Covid 19.
Harpreet Sandhu, stated that it was SBS Nagar (Nawanshahr) where the first Covid 19 case was detected in Punjab, but with the 24x7 efforts of Police Personnel under the able administration of SSP, SBS Nagar Alka Meena, IPS, today it has virtually became Corona Mukt District. He further urged Police personnel present during the event to adopt and circulate Safety Online Slogans enabling to fight Corona while sitting at home and follow the safety guidelines enabling make Punjab Corona Mukt and make Hon'ble Punjab’s Chief Minister slogan "Mission Fateh" a success.
SSP, SBS Nagar Alka Meena, IPS acknowledged this noble cause initiated by Advoacte Harpreet Sandhu and Sewa Sankalp Society towards the humanity during the Covid Pandemic and also addressed that, “Masks are essential to curtail the spread of this ongoing deadly disease Corona”.
